Having taken the honour of launching Benga Beats, Pixel Fist return with yet another cavalcade of broad-minded bass nuggets. "XTC" embodies the gung-ho, piano-slamming rave spirit of yore while pushing it rudely into the 21st century via seismic waves of circus bass. "In Estate" follows, and judging by Stapleton's lyrics and moody, groaning bass, they're not talking about being in a large roomy estate motor.

"Guillotine", meanwhile, is as razor sharp as you'd expect. A distorted hoover bass doubles up in texture, warping in and out, creating a simple but highly infectious riff. The humorously titled "Dogger" completes the set on a funky note thanks to a slinky bassline and shivering chords quivering the background. Champion.
