Distal - The Shadow Egg (2013)

The four tracks display the diversity of Distal's production palette; lead cut "Ridge City" is a swirling mass of unpredictable snare rolls and epic strings which contrasts nicely with the tensestripped down "25 Automatic" which has a touch of Maurice Donovan about it. Manwhile "106 Degrees" is slightly derangedsub-heavy jacking house whilst "Drone Circle" pairs blissed out clouds of synths with ghetto house dynamism.
